Mordechai - A Short Film

Mordechai is a funny and touching fable about family, faith and the roles we play. This short film is set around a traditional orthodox Jewish family but with themes that will resonate with audiences of all faiths, both here and abroad.

I was genuinely shocked when I received the call to say we had been selected. When you write a script you end up thinking... I like it but will other people? The idea of having to pitch to a panel of industry professionals was incredibly intimidating, but as soon as we got in the room they put us at ease. For me it's been really important meeting Maria Caruana Galizia, she's an incredible talent. She really challenges me to push myself when we work on a project together. I would probably be at home watching Bargain hunt if it wasn't for her. Well... more often.
